About Us

As a mid-sized firm of solicitors, we don't try to be everything to everybody. What we do focus on is making the law work for our clients. Our approach to giving advice and getting deals done is commercial and practical. We aim to operate in every case as a constructive and effective force in achieving the commercial objectives of clients. Clients want solutions to problems: it is our job to deliver solutions in a way that achieves the clients' objectives. We have a pragmatic approach - the key for us is to get results. We work smart, but also hard and will pull out all the stops to get things done on time and to budget.

We believe in being open - if there's a problem, we tell you but we will also tell you how it can be resolved and the risks attached. And we're not afraid of giving our view - after all, that's what we get paid for.

Achieving this is a dedicated team of lawyers along with a strong support team. You can read more about the Partners and Assistants in Our People Section. Our clients span a range of industries, from property developers, banks, retailers, housing associations, technology companies and othe businesses and we advise many individuals and families. We believe in building long term relationships and make sure we take the time to understand how our clients work and what they want to achieve.

The core of our service has always been the exceptional talent of individual lawyers. We recruit people whose intellectual ability is matched by equal measures of common sense and a determination to fight the client's corner.

To compete successfully in today's market place we have to function as an efficient business. But we also take great pride in our status as members of the legal profession. Whatever the business pressures to which we might be subjected, the highest standards of integrity and professional ethics are expected of all our people.
